A Vigo English academy built for working professionals.
Jim's Workshop opened its doors in Cruz Verde, Vigo in January 2024. We teach Business English the way it actually gets used at work — through real conversation, not textbook drills.
Why we exist
Vigo's professionals work with international clients every day — in automotive, shipbuilding, fishing, logistics, tech and tourism. Most can read and write English. What they need is the confidence to lead a meeting, negotiate a contract, or carry a dinner conversation. That is what we train.
How we teach
Classes are in-person, 90 minutes long, capped at five students, and grouped by level (B1 → B2 and B2 → C1). You speak the entire time. We work on fluency, tone, idiom and the cultural cues that make English land naturally.
